Aladdin at California Adventure

We went and saw the Aladdin show on the first day of Disneyland. It was such a good show. They really make a big production out of it. They even have the magic carpet that flies through the audience.

The Genie is so good, He cracks alot of hilarious jokes. Very good!

The elephant walks through the audience.

Very good show. Anyone going to Disneyland I highly recommend taking the time to see this show. It is about 45 minutes, and well worth it.

Disneyland Vacation Day 2

Sunday Was Jeff's birthday, and day 1 at Disneyland..... Hooray!!!!! Because it was Jeff''s birthday he got a gift card for $69 to use in the park. Happy Birthday honey, thanks for letting us spend it at The Happiest Place on Earth!!!! This is waiting in line for Its a small World.
The 3-D Bugs life show was the best show at California Adventure.

More of as at Bug land.

This is just a fun picture Meghan took of us in one of the California Adventure display things.
The kids just waiting for the Aladdin show to start.

Kaylee and Walle

This is all of us in line at the Indiana jones ride.
Day 3 is soon to follow, so check back later.

Disneyland Vacation Day 1

We Got to California on Saturday April 4th. Jeff wanted Red Lobster for his birthday dinner. Kaylee loves crab legs, and she was intently trying to crack them.
Bradlee made sure he ate every piece of Crab on his plate.

Jeff was being silly with his Crab claws.

He was very pleased with his birthday dinner.

The Living Planet Aquarium!

We decided to go to the Aquarium the other day. I think it is kinda pricey, but if you buy a season pass you pay the same price as going twice, so that isn't so bad. We took some fun pictures, but since we now have a season pass I am sure you will see many more... Maybe even some with Meghan in them, she was babysitting for Lydia, so she didn't go with us this day.
Kaylee wanted to get a picture taken with the Turtles. Can you see the turtles?

This is Bradlee petting the Stingrays. He loves this part.

Kaylee was to afraid to actually touch the Stingray

The kids were actually getting along...... Really they were!

Bradlee Driving the boat.

Smile Jeff.

Seriously, Smile Jeff.
The Aquarium is rather small, but they keep saying there is more to come, so we will just have to wait and see.

Breakfast in Bed!

Sunday Morning Meghan and her friend Breanna came and asked me if they could make eggs for breakfast. They also asked if I would like some. They brought me eggs in bed. It was very nice of them. What thoughtfulness. Thanks girls!

My very own Picaso

Bradlee had a project at school to draw his own Picaso picture, and this was the outcome. I thought it was very good if I do say so myself. He is very talented in the drawing department. Way to go Dude!!!

Cousin's Bonding

Bradlee and Ethan have bonded alittle. The other day Bradlee was sitting on the couch playing his Nintendo DS on Jeff's lap, Ethan went over and sat with Bradlee on Jeff"s lap and sat there watching Bradlee for quite some time. I thought it was very cute. Usually Ethan is alittle more active..... Who am I kidding, when Bradlee and Ethan are together they are both very active. Ethan is 4 Years younger than Bradlee, but they sure do play well together.
I thought it was very cute how Ethan was watching so intently as Bradlee played his game.

The Weinermoble

When we were out and about on Saturday we found the Weinermobile at Walmart, Yes we were crazy enough to take our picture. Bradlee, Kaylee, Mom

Rascal Flatts

Wendy, Tasha, Chrissy and I went to the Rascal Flatts concert last week. We had great seats. We were able to stand right next to the stage.... Thats right we could see the sweat dripping off of their faces, and if we weren't careful it could have dripped on us.
Wendy, Tasha, Chrissy, Shelly

This is the hottie! Dont you think he is super hot???

This is the man that touched us.... Yes I typed that right, he actually touched us.

Here's the hottie again..... Yummy!!!!1

See I told you we could see the sweat!

This guy was so funny, he was using that towel to demonstrate how short women wear their skirts.

We had so much fun. One of the best concerts ever!

Clean Laundry!!!

Our Dryer broke on Saturday... The funny thing about that is Jeff has been trying to convince me that we needed a new washer and dryer. He wanted stackable front loaders so that when we (meaning when he) finish the basement we have more room for a bedroom and a bathroom if we have stackables. Whatever right???? So as he is trying to convince me of this or dryer dies..... I think he planned it to break. Anyway, we went to Lowes and bought Maytag front loaders. I love them. Dont they look pretty? They will look even better with a finished basement around them. They work very nicely, and our clothes smell cleaner than ever. :)

A Boy's Best Friend

So Bradlee did something last week at school that caused us to have to ground him. We took away his Ipod, his toys in his room, and and more. Now as a 9 year old boy you would think he would be mad about his Ipod.... or maybe you would think he would be furious that we wouldn't let him play with Friends..... or maybe the fact we took away all his toys, and his T.V..... perhaps the fact that we wouldn't let him play on the Wii or the computer would get our point across. No, none of this was the trick. I also decided that he didn't get to sleep with Maggie for a week.... Now we are getting somewhere. He was so mad that we took his dog away. He cried..... and Cried..... and cried..... "I cant sleep without Maggie, I need Maggie!" Now here is the kicker, the following morning after his 1st night of punishment I here him downstairs talking to Maggie, " Maggie I am sooooo sorry, I feel so bad, I missed you so much, I hope you can forgive me!" No, I am not making this up. Do you think Mom or Dad got an "I'm Sorry"? No such luck, but Maggie got the most heartfelt apology that I have ever heard come out of that boy. These pictures are the first night Bradlee and Maggie were reunited.
Now, just for the record Jeff and I finally did get an apology. Bradlee made us a card that said he was sorry, and that he loves us very much. I'm not gonna lie to ya, it made me get alittle teary eyed, and made me feel bad for being so mean. Lets just hope he learned his lesson.
