The Congressional Hearing!

Meghan's 5th grade class put on a congressional hearing at school. Of course I was pleased with Meghan as she knew all her parts and even answered some of the questions given by the judges. Once again I am so proud of her. Good Job Meggie Pie! Meghan, Emerson, and Cameron

One Time at a band Concert......

Meghan had her final band concert of the year last week. It was very nice. She did a very good job..... I dont think she was the one squeeking..... Good job Meghan I am very proud of you.

Spring is in the Air!

The kids found this bird nest with the beautiful eggs in it. Bradlee came and got the camera and took this picture. It is always fun for the kids to discover new fun things outside, and Seeing wild life is always an adventure.

Oh Babies!!!

I love babies, so when I have 2 new babies to play with I get super excited. Rick and Shelly had a beautiful baby boy, and Emily also had a beautiful baby boy. Jeff and Rick playing when we visited them in the hospital.

A Tea Party for Shannon!

Shannon,

Popeye's anyone????

Have you ever wanted to eat at a certain place so bad you would do just about anything? We have!!!! Our family loves to eat Jack in the Box. Everytime we go to California we eat there at least once. Well this time on Vacation we tried Popeye's Chicken......... SOooooo good! We heard there was one up in Layton. Yes we know Crazy, An hour drive just for Chicken. But it is so worth it. We drive to Layton last Wednesday for dinner...... We Drive...... and Drive..... and Drive..... u-turn after u-turn to find the Popeye's Chicken. Where could this place be?????

My friend told me it was here somewhere???????

Anyone who has been to Popeye's can tell this isn't it. After about an hour of searching around Hill Airforce Base we ask one of the Guards at the base....... After the look of "Are you Serious" from the guard he tells us it is on base and we must have military ties to get on base...... Duh!!!! Thanks for nothing Popeye! We ended up at a chinese place instead...... And had a migraine from it! Oh well, You cant win them all can you?

Crazy kids!

So the other day I caught Bradlee and Kaylee playing on the trampoline. They were dressed up in Halloween costumes, and they were playing Star Wars....... i think. Bradlee was pretending to use Jedi power to "throw" Kaylee around. She was bouncing into the net. It was pretty funny to watch.

The Jeopardy Bowl!

Meghan was in a 5th grade Jeopardy bowl at school. All the 5th grade classes competed against each other. Meghan's class won, and Meghan herself answered 3 questions. Her group was asked a total of 8 questions, so she answered 3/8.

Back to real Life........ Well Sort of!

We went to the Aquarium when we got home from vacation. We weren't ready to go back to work and life so we went to the Aquarium instead.

Awwwww!!!!! How Cute, unless you ask my kids, they think kissing is gross.

So that is the end of the Vacation. They always fly by so fast. We had a great time doing all the fun things we did. I am ending the Vacation posts with a few more pictures that I like. Some might be duplicates, but here they are anyway. Me and the kids outside of Disneyland.

Hiking the Arches

On the way home we decided to stop at Arches. Jeff has always wanted to hike to the Delicate arch..... Fye, There are 2 different trails for the arch. One is long and very difficult, and one is short and on a paved trail.... Don't take the long one if you were only prepared for the short one..... That would be a big mistake. Since we were planning on the short paved hike. Meghan and I were in bad hiking shoes. We had to relieve our feet several times. Feeling the rock on our feet was kinda cool though! I have this picture on here twice by mistake, but we are cute enough I am going to leave it. This is the whole family after we made it (finally) to the top of the delicate Arch. I will say this..... If you can take the 3 mile hike, it is definantley worth it. The view is spectacullar, and Gorgeous. You dont get this view from the paved trail.
